Playground · Ear

Ear training for intervals and chords, with a list of the ones you miss.

It plays an interval (rising, falling or both notes together) or a common chord on the same synthesised strings as the tuner, and you name it. The score is kept per interval and per chord, so you can see which ones you keep confusing, like a minor sixth you hear as a fifth.

Which interval?

Press Play one. You'll hear two notes or a chord; then pick what it was.

The notes are the tuner’s synthesised strings, between E2 and C5, so it's a guitar ear you're training.

What this page sends

Nothing leaves your browser, and this page doesn't use the microphone. The notes are synthesised here, the score is held in the page's memory and is gone when you leave, and no request goes to a server.
